Hello,
Today was special day for one of the most busy C.G.Road of Ahmedabad. For the whole day the road was closed for vehicles and was open to general public to participate in various activities like skating, painting, magic show, dance, music and last but not the least our activity of Astronomy.
On special request from Traffic Police of Ahmedabad, we accepted to show the Moon through telescope to those children who participated in Traffic training.
We were asked to use premise of SEWA Café. For smooth program, SEWA authority said NO to all customers for café. The persons in charge Sandipbhai & Jagatbhai welcomed us for the program and without asking, he arranged for 10 volunteers to help us. Children with their parents, few guests who came to dine, police personnel and SEWA volunteers enjoyed beautiful phase of Venus, near half Moon and Sirius the solitaire.
At the end, we were offered nice Sandwich by café authority and we gave them small poster to pin up. Due to low battery of camera, we couldn’t click more action photos.
