Hello!
The journey to thru the Solar system - from Sun to Pluto fascinated all - 82 students, 11 teachers, 1 Principal & 24 parents. And even some curious souls off the street, at Gujarati medium Municipal School No: 1 of Naranpura, Ahmedabad.
This, our first experience at delivering our program to a municipal school went off beautifully. The wonderful cooperation and the enthusiasm shown by the Principal, teachers and parents was very heartwarming and encouraging. We had been a little apprehensive about the large numbers at the program but everyone worked together to create a real memorable experience.
One young teacher and few students were really exceptionally enthusiastic and well informed. When we gave away prizes to those students who had answered questions posed during the presentation correctly, their faces sparkled like the stars they had seen thru the telescope. In fact, their interest was so stimulated they wanted us to help them start an Astronomy Club for their school! Of course we were more than happy to share with them our plans to start a mentor program for all those who wished to continue their interest in Astronomy beyond our program.
The Lunar observation through our new 8" SCT telescope was treated like a special treat by the students and their awed exclamations assured us that this would remain a lifetime memory for them! So many of them shared their pleasure with us at the end of the program, that our goal to reach thousands of municipal students received a wonderful boost.

Great & Excellent work is being done by you. No one can match these efforts & hard work you are putting to educate children,other people & this world who perhaps don't know about "Astronomy". Really Tough job & the best job.
We may not be able to contribute by some or all means in this noble activity but our hearty wishes are always with u.
